Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the use of walpio (“the service”), a WhatsApp Business gateway operated from India (“walpio”, “we”, “us”). By requesting access or using the service you (“the client”) agree to them.

1. The service

walpio provides an API and operational layer over Meta's official WhatsApp Business Cloud API: sending and receiving WhatsApp messages on the client's own WhatsApp Business account, automatic handling of WhatsApp's 24-hour customer-service window, template management and delivery tracking. Access is provisioned through a short onboarding we run together with each client.

We operate the service with professional care on reliable infrastructure, but no service is uninterrupted: WhatsApp delivery ultimately depends on Meta's platform and the recipient's device. The service is provided “as is” without warranties beyond what these terms state. A public status endpoint is available at api.walpio.com/health.

6. Data

Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: the client owns its data; we store message metadata and short previews, not full conversation archives; credentials are encrypted; we never sell data.

7. Intellectual property

walpio's software, brand and site remain ours. Client data, numbers and Meta assets remain the client's. WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.; walpio is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, walpio's total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees the client paid to walpio in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for acts of Meta, telecom carriers or the client's own use of the service in breach of these terms.

9. Termination

The client may cancel at any time (effective at the end of the paid period). We may terminate for material breach that isn't remedied within 14 days of notice, or immediately for serious abuse under section 3. On closure, workspace data is deleted per the retention terms in the Privacy Policy, and the client's Meta account continues to work independently of us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email to the account contact at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in the client's home jurisdiction.
